The Challenge
Creating consistent presence throughout the year for Papa Murphy’s during typically slow sales Summer months.

The Solution
Media Solutions created and negotiated with CBS radio a Summer radio promotion “Summer of Fun” to drive customers to their local Papa Murphy’s.
In addition to a strong paid campaign, the “Summer of Fun” promotion delivered the following:
• New Chevy Trailblazer vehicle wrapped with Papa Murphy’s pizzas, logos, and other fun slogans like “Honk if you love Papa Murphy’s pizzas, www.FREEtickets.
• The SUV attended a minimum of 6-10hour weekly events in the Sacramento area, including concerts, community picnics, fairs, etc.  Customers were encouraged to come up to the van and play a plunko game where they won win free pizzas, concert tickets, cds, etc.
• (300) :30 second bonus Papa Murphy’s spots
• (450) :30 second promotional spots
• (300) :15 second promotional spots
• Van hits at (30) Sacramento Papa Murphy’s stores
In addition each individual CBS station offered separate promotions such as “Nominate your favorite soccer coach” and “Nominate your favorite local Firehouse.”  The winner of these promotions received free Papa Murphy’s pizza.
