Petra is our “Legal Eagle” bringing a diverse background to MEDIA SOLUTIONS. She is an attorney licensed with the State Bar of California. In addition to her legal background, she has experience in real estate and office management.
Petra’s responsibilities focus on state and governmental clients. She plans and places media with a strong ethnic skew throughout the state of California, as well as, general market concerns. Petra’s media expertise lies primarily in executing media buys, negotiating the best rates for clients and maximizing target audience reach and frequency as well as free-media included with the buy. She is well versed at using the computer programs and research tools at her disposal including Strata SBMS, View and Q-View systems as well as Nielsen, Media Audit, Scarborough and Arbitron.
One demonstration of Petra’s abilities and expertise in implementing campaigns targeting individuals on a statewide basis is the work she did for Universal Lifeline Telephone Service. This campaign used multiple media outlets reaching low income individuals of various ages and ethnicities including television, radio, print, direct mail and outdoor. Petra was able to negotiate a buy that was so successful the second half of the campaign had to be postponed to allow the call center to catch-up on the sudden influx of calls. Petra was further able to turn the $1.2M paid media budget into an additional $1.1M in free-media through her negotiation expertise.
