One thing you will NOT get from Media Solutions is excuses for spots not appearing as an explanation for a campaign not achieving its goals. We simply will not stand for it.
Three processes ensure our exceptional delivery of media campaigns: - Buying Software - Confirmations - Weekly Tracking
We use STRATA buying software for all of our media buying. Media spots are entered into the system line item by line item ensuring that every spot is accounted for.
If we did not have signed confirmations for every buy we place we would not be able to achieve such outstanding make-goods for our clients. One of our staff members is accountable for all signed confirmations being in hand within 24 hours of sending them out.
But even with our market leading buying software and tight guidelines, it really is our weekly tracking that keeps us on track and gives us such accuracy. We understand that timeliness of make-goods is very important to achieving our clients’ campaign goals. So we have dedicated staff members who request station logs and pre/post every week ( on Monday) following a campaign. They prepare tracking sheets and compare against bookings. It is at this early stage that we request make-goods, which benefits our clients because we can reschedule that lost spot into the current campaign flight.
If that weren’t enough, because our relationships with vendors are highly respected, we receive advance warning by our vendors if a spot is not going to run or they need to make a spot good at a time other then that originally booked.. We review these “make-good” offers and sign and fax them back if they are found to be satisfactory. If they are not, we re-negotiate while we are still in the drivers’ seat and the vendors are aware that they are not achieving a negotiated delivery.
Finally, each month during invoicing, logs are received and downloaded by our staff into our STRATA system where they are electronically matched with the original schedule that we purchased. Spots are checked by the computer to make sure that we have adequate separation and that they ran during the week, day and time purchased. Any spots that do not match are flagged by the system and then reviewed by Media Solutions to decide if we will ace- pay the invoice.
