Situation: Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) is one of the nation’s most respected learning institutions and the second-largest community college district in California. LRCCD is a two-year public college district that serves the greater Sacramento region and includes: American River, Cosumnes River, Folsom Lake and Sacramento City colleges; major education and outreach centers in Davis, Elk Grove, Natomas, Placerville, Rancho Cordova and West Sacramento; and specialized workforce and economic development programs for business, government and organizations throughout the region.
Target: Adults 18-24 primary, Adults 25-54 secondary
Flight: July 2015 – August 2015
Objective: Steward prospective students through online exploration of LRCCD’s programs and support enrollment goals to increase new student enrollment and retain existing student.
Tactics: Create awareness of LRCCD colleges and their key enrollment dates and increase consideration among prospective students.
Our Media Magic: We ran outdoor, print and radio. The key performance indicators showed that there was increased time spent on site, clicks to the landing page and content and pages explored increased along with the apply now increase in clicks.
Results: Over 286 applications submissions were received and the total impressions from offline media contributed to LRCCD’s goals of enhancing the LRCCD brand and create awareness of their colleges and their key enrollment dates.
