Celebrating 25 Years

We should never get so busy that we don’t take the time to celebrate our successes. Like the one that Media Solutions just celebrated August 1st.  Cynthia Metler and I celebrated 25 years in business together. Yes, Media Solutions has existed for the last 25 years. That’s  longer than our children have been alive.  Now that is worth a celebration!

Over the years we have worked with some of the greats in the industry.  We have had partnered with Deen and Black (now Ogilvy), Dana Foran, Edelman, Glass McClure (now The Glass Agency), Anderson Solone, and 3 Fold to name a few.

We have helped elect candidates and pass propositions.

We have also had many state clients providing outreach to change behaviors, including CHP, Low Cost Auto Insurance, Cal Trans, Department of Boating and Waterways, Mental Health and Office of Problem Gambling; it’s a rewarding feeling to help institute positive behavior change!

Media Solutions was also early to the game for Cellular and Cable companies. We started working for Cellular One (now AT&T) before my children were born.  We also did some media planning for Surewest Communications (now Consolidated Communications) where we made a great friend who transferred to Texas and called Media Solutions to help him over at Grande Communications.  We still work with and “break bread” as often as we can with Pete!

We started working with QSR brands starting in 1998 for Jimboy’s Tacos. Papa Murphy’s came along in 2003 and we still work with them today.

Media Solutions has enjoyed a long relationship with The Future Automotive Group since 1998. We started working with them when they had 4 dealerships, and in that time they’ve successfully grown to 9.  When Cynthia originally pitched that business, she had just returned from maternity leave with her oldest daughter Morgan, who is now a freshman at University of Arizona.

We have been blessed over the years with wonderful staff, including our current team. Many have gone on to establish illustrious careers, and many with vendors that we still work with on a daily basis today.

Yes, 25 years!  The media landscape has changed for the better and still continues to evolve.

While some of the tools have changed, for us, the relationship part of the business never has.

Strategizing, researching, planning, negotiating, placing, tracking and monitoring media has always been, and always will be our passion, but the people we have met along the way have always been the greatest gift.

Yes, the media landscape has changed,  some of the clients,  some of our staff and vendors have changed, but I dare anyone to say that Cynthia and I have changed!
