Karyn Meyer

Media Buyer

As a Media Buyer, Karyn works on all aspects of the media buying process, including putting together buys for different media, requesting and importing station avails, negotiating rates and added value with station vendors, performing research, approving makegoods, reconciling invoices, and posting media buys. She has also gained valuable experience on the account management side, by communicating with clients to resolve issues and answer questions and contributing to client meetings. Karyn currently works on several accounts, including California Public Utilities Commission, California Department of Healthcare Services, California State Treasurer’s Office, MTI College, Sacramento County Mental Health Services, as well as political campaigns. 

Prior to joining Media Solutions, Karyn spent a year and a half as an Assistant Account Manager at a business management firm in Los Angeles. This experience prepared Karyn for the world of media buying and planning by reinforcing her keen attention to detail and affirming her confidence in working with numbers.

Born and raised in Davis, Karyn has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. She enjoys spending time with her Miniature Poodle Buffy, and she also loves to travel and can’t wait until her next adventure!
