Kelly has ten years’ experience developing and executing marketing communications plans for national, regional, and local advertising campaigns. She began her career as a junior media planner for a telecommunications client with a large advertising agency. This is where she learned the essentials of an advertising campaign by collaborating with the creative and account teams to implement media strategies that best reach the target audience. She then realized her passion for the buying side of a campaign and became a Media Buyer at Media Solutions negotiating the most effective media buys for various campaigns. Next, she progressed into the role as media director.
As a media director she conducts quantitative and qualitative research to determine the lifestyle and media habits of the target audience. She collaborates with the account and creative teams to provide comprehensive media plans that meet the goals of each unique client. Then, she ensures the media plan is executed with the best media rates and includes added value to strengthen the advertising campaign.
She continues to develop and maintain strong relationships with the media vendors and stays informed on latest media trends. At the end of the day, her focus and passion are to ensure a successful media campaign for the client.
She has worked with a diverse clientele from retail to California State Accounts and non-profit organizations including: California Highway Patrol, CA Department of Health, CA State Treasurer’s Office, Department of Healthcare Services, CA Public Utilities Commission, Political Advocacy, MTI College, Oakmont Senior Living, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, One Community Health, Pfizer, Future Automotive Group, Goodwill and Grande Communications.
Kelly is a native Californian with a Bachelor’s of Communications. You can find her watching her kids play sports in her free time and being their personal taxi driver.
