Media Coordinator

 

As a Media Coordinator, Karyn assists in managing client activities and ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all tasks. This includes creating and coordinating promotions with stations, negotiating added value, requesting and importing station avails, performing research, trafficking commercials, approving make-goods and reconciling invoices. She has gained valuable experience in both the account management and all aspects of media buying, by communicating with clients to resolve issues and answer questions, contributing to client meetings, putting together buys across different media, and negotiating rates with vendors. Karyn currently works on several accounts, including Papa Murphy’s, California Public Utilities Commission, Sacramento County Mental Health Services, and Goodwill of Sacramento Valley and Northern Nevada.

 

Prior to joining Media Solutions, Karyn spent a year and a half as an Assistant Account Manager at a business management firm in Los Angeles. This experience prepared Karyn for the world of media buying and planning by reinforcing her keen attention to detail and affirming her confidence in working with numbers.

 

Born and raised in Davis, Karyn has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. She loves to travel and can’t wait until her next adventure!
