Kelly has ten years’ experience developing and executing marketing communications plans for national, regional, and local advertising campaigns. She began her career as a junior media planner for a telecommunications client with a large advertising agency. This is where she learned the essentials of an advertising campaign by collaborating with the creative and account teams to implement media strategies that best reach the target audience. She then realized her passion for the buying side of a campaign and became a Media Buyer at Media Solutions.
As a media buyer she conducts quantitative and qualitative research to determine the lifestyle and media habits of the target audience. Then, she determines the most effective media vehicle including Audio, Television, Out of Home, Print,
Digital & Social Media to reach the target demographics based on the clients’ goals. Next, she negotiates the best media rates and includes added value to strengthen the advertising campaign. She continues to develop and maintain strong relationships with the media vendors and stays informed on latest media vehicles. At the end of the day, her focus and passion are to ensure a successful media campaign for the client.
She has worked with a diverse clientele from retail to California State Accounts and non-profit organizations including: California Highway Patrol, CA Department of Health, CA State Treasurer’s Office, Political Advocacy, MTI College, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, One Community Health, Pfizer, Future Automotive Group, Goodwill and Grande Communications.
